Family Bonds

Family connections represent a heart commitment. The difficult moments, the obstacles that are presented in one's life force him to wake up spiritually, and to grow in that field.

When we speak about family, we speak about our parents, siblings, our wife and children. We also speak about our spiritual family, our global family, because we are all siblings, children of the same Creator.

All the animals are also our siblings, our family, and we should communicate with them in terms of kindness.

To live we should die to our selfish interests, our pride, and to transform our lives into instruments in the service of the others.

We can observe several types of attitudes, which are exploitation, indifference and dedication. Of these three obviously the human being should be dedicated to dedication and service to the common cause that is universal love.

The attitudes of exploitation and indifference are the enemies of love and of sincerity. Don't complain if you have had to live difficult material circumstances. Be thankful that you have a level of consciousness that allows you to recognize yourself as a son of God, and the power to serve him.

Be thankful for every new day that allows you to live and to have the opportunity to grow. Humility is the wealth of the sages.

Teach with your example. To be strict with yourself and merciful with others. Remember that you have the obligation of giving to others all the good things you have received.

Don't expect from others more than that you voluntarily can offer. Respect other people's property. Don't do to others what you would not like them to do to you. Offer to others with love, that which you would like them to offer to you. Having conscience allows us to regret our errors.

To draw off material things allows us to live with true freedom.

To maintain a united family strengthened by love, we should look for the association and the advice of people that inspire us with their example and their wisdom.

Be thankful for your family and for all the good things that they offer, and don't forget to put God into the center of your home. There is nothing that one cannot solve and harmonize.

The only thing selfishness can cause is sadness.

If you want to live surrounded by kindness, never incur violence by a lie.
