| Love
others as yourself!
But
if we cannot feel love for the defenseless animals that have never
harmed us, they have never insulted us, nor have they stolen from
us nor deceived us, yet we have such a hard heart that we don't
have any feeling toward them and we reproduce them as industrial
products in the cruellest ways.
The
whole world suffers because of this. The world economy is affected
for this reason, because the ecological damage that it creates is
enormous.
Our
health is also completely damaged. It is necessary to be well informed
so as not to continue serving as food the dead corps of our poor
little innocent brothers, without knowing the consequences that
this carries, on a physical, mental and spiritual level.
Jesus,
it is said, was a vegetarian. When the angel announces to Mary that
she will have a son, milk and honey will be his food, he tells her,
until he knows how to distinguish between the good and the bad.
In
this way, we should take care of what we eat. We should inform ourselves
well for the wellbeing of ourselves and the world and for what we
will leave our children.
Please,
let us be more conscious and not allow ourselves to crawl for the
minuscule pleasure of the tongue. Also, you can prepare delicious
vegetarian dishes of so many varieties and flavors that you cannot
imagine.
These
preparations should also be offered to God so that your food is
of a complete benefit, so that it also purifies your spirit and
it alleviates us from karma. The Vedas say that the foods offered
to God liberate us from karma, while those preparations not offered
and are only pleasure for the tongue, entangle us more in karma.
For
this reason, follow the true science of peace and diet. Everything
is connected in this world. Everything has their deep and subtle
roots. Let us be more sensitive so that others can behave likewise
with us.
Let
us be good with our smaller siblings, and in this way we will feel
we are living in a great family and our hearts will obtain great
benefit from it.
That
God blesses us all, with a fraternal hug.
