| Self-esteem
is the proper validation that we have of our identity and our potentials,
which permits us to progress positively in our familiar social surroundings
Many
people suffer from low selfesteem, from an absence of happiness,
and from a failure to find meaning in their lives.
Consider
the competitive and consumeristic life style of modern society that
has created false principles and values in determining the success
of a person. In
reality, the importance of a human being is relative to the quality
and generosity of the objectives that they pursue. It's
fundamental that parents understand that their level of self-esteem
determines the emotional stability of their children; it signifies
their refuge and protection. The
parents who have fortified their spirits and elevated their level
of self-esteem are the base from which their children may grow joyfully
and be respected. A
human element with permanent self-esteem in institutions and organizations,
eliminates hostility, authoritarianism and its indignities, and
converts the ambience of work into a field of auto-realization,
and efficient service.
